Management

The objective of the study programme is to prepare the bachelors in Management who have theoretical knowledge on management and are able to analyse micro and macro environments of organizations, to evaluate and identify the managerial problems, suggest the decisions on sustainable and rational usage of resources, to foster collaborative relationship with the interested parties and develop management competencies.

The programme offers specialisations in:

  • Sales management (Electronic trade, customer relation management, negotiation strategies);
  • Quality management (Business process management, quality management system, quality management methods).

Note. The admission to the Programme will be opened if the Programme is accredited and registered in the Register of Study and Education Programmes of Education and Science Ministry of the Republic of Lithuania

The intensified study period

Study duration for the admitted full-time students – 3 years. Studies for part-time students last 4.5 year and lectures are organized after working hours (in the evenings) or weekends (Saturdays).

Interdisciplinary project development

The applicability of theoretical knowledge of management, the skills in social research and the experience of team working in product development project from idea generation and its implementation enable a management professional to collaborate with the engineers from different profile enterprises, stimulate his/her creativity, critical thinking and help to search for the original decisions based on the obtained conceptual knowledge and practical wisdom.

Partnership

Active involvement of social partners in study process

80 percent of final degree projects and semester projects are suggested by the social partners. They actively participate in modules as guest lecturers, supervise the process of student internship in the companies, help developing a study programme and act as a career mentors

 

Skills

• Analysis of business environment and strategic thinking;
• Management and decision making (organizational design, accounting and finance management, management control, sustainable development, ect.);
• Managing human resources (conflict management, talent development, teamworking and negotiations, managing legal aspects of labour, etc.);
• Marketing and market analysis.

The specialised skills are obtained in the specializations “Sales Management” or “Quality Management”. The Programme enables to individualize study content by choosing between product development project based on innovation , entrepreneurship and teamworking skills or BA+ competence „Digitalization in production“ which helps to acquires the knowledge and skills in analysing digital data of production processes and operations.


Note: The duration of the part-time studies is 6 years.

Maximum 3 years after high school graduation is eligible.

Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian.

The documents must be legalised (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.

Minimum average grade (CGPA) > 60 % in each entry subject.
