Presentation of the MA+ competences at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities in Zoom meeting on 5 September at 12:30 p.m. https://liedm.zoom.us/j/92319847640 . Meeting ID: 923 1984 7640.
The ability to communicate with people from other cultures in their native language gives you the opportunity to experience diverse cultures. Nowadays different countries and nations are closely connected to each other in various ways like never before in the history – the supply of goods and services, the need to solve issues of international safety and politics, and many other matters.
Multilingual people are highly valued and appreciated – they can help in the implementation of international business, get acquainted with information sources from other countries and evaluate political and economic events objectively. Excellent knowledge of one’s mother tongue and extensive knowledge of two or three foreign languages is the inevitable part of higher education. Linguistic competence improves your competitiveness on an international level, broadens your cultural and social boundaries, and it also enables you to actively participate in the information society as well as to become a leader.
KTU Master’s students can choose English, French, German, Russian, Italian, Spanish or Swedish language courses of levels A1, A2, B1 and reach level B1, B2 or C1. Please note that you could be adviced to choose another language or level in case of no full group per level / language.
