This doctoral programme provides in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of condensed matter, radiation interactions with materials and optical spectroscopy.
KTU PhD students work with cutting-edge technologies and research methods, including electron lithography, reactive plasma etching, spectroscopic ellipsometry and spectroscopy of ultrafast processes. Their research focuses on practical applications, developing innovative technologies for biosensors, plasmonics, renewable energy and other high-technology areas. Applicants to the doctoral field of science are accepted by competition according to the competition score. Minimum Competition Score 7.5 Additional condition: 1. An applicant must provide bachelor qualification diploma and it’s supplement 2. One of the submitted recommendations has to be written by the supervisor of the topic 3. An applicant must submit a research proposal on the selected topic |
