The programme trains high-level professionals to manage complex construction projects from numerical modelling to actual implementation. Design and construction management is the ability to develop innovative solutions and coordinate construction processes. Specialised modules allow you to delve deeper into structural
The programme focuses on introducing the principles of digital construction, developing professionals who are ready for the challenges of the future and able to operate in an ever-changing world. It promotes collaboration between construction actors in a unified environment using a standardised language.
Teaching practitioners are actively involved in the study process, sharing their knowledge and experience to inspire students to continue their professional development and pursue new knowledge.
The coursework provides opportunities for teamwork, problem-based learning, case studies, and BIM (Building Information Modelling) software packages.
Students can choose alternative subjects depending on their desire to specialise in construction or management and can also coordinate their study curriculum or the subject of their final project with their employer.
Design, construct, and manage buildings using digital models.
This programme provides a comprehensive approach to identifying, analysing, and optimising construction processes. You will gain expertise in applying, managing, and advancing digital technologies, as well as identifying and solving engineering challenges. Learn to collaborate within a BIM team in building design, quality management, and solution evaluation.
The Integrated Design and Construction Management programme opens the door to diverse career opportunities:
Develops the strategy and tactics for the BIM part of the project, allocates work tasks, and controls the development process of the part of the project to ensure compatibility between models and functions of different disciplines.
Manages the BIM project during the implementation phase, reflecting the process in real time in the digital twin. Controls resources, time, and quality, manages risks.
Prepares standard BIM projects, supervises the implementation of such projects, and provides advice to building users during operation and demolition.

After I started my master’s, my career changed – I got a job in the Construction and Infrastructure Department of Panevėžys District Municipality as a Senior Specialist. After graduating, I got a pay rise. In addition, I applied many of the things I had learnt at work, such as working on the Lithuanian Spatial Information Portal, searching for the relevant version of the Construction Law or technical regulations.
This programme requires proficiency in Lithuanian. All educational components, from teaching to assessment, are conducted in this language.
The programme offers a choice of module options to help you develop your knowledge in areas that are relevant to you. The flexibility of the modules allows you to tailor your studies to your career goals.
