Public Policy and Security

Being overwhelmed by many security issues in public policy, it is more important than ever to understand this dynamic process, and to be able to assess emerging risks, threats, and their management mechanisms. Within our political science study departments, we have established an open and competent team of lecturers and scientists, and a programme that provides students with the necessary analytical tools and expertise for 21st century challenges.

Strong competencies in policy and security analysis

Students will analyse contemporary public policy and security processes, and evaluate them at national, European, international, and global levels. Through this, graduates will be able to professionally identify public policy and security issues, present their solutions and predict the expected consequences, and analyse the development and prospects of public policy and security processes.

Opportunity to work in the public sector

Graduates will be able to work in consultative, managerial, and research areas in institutions and organisations of the European Union, public and business organisations, municipalities, ministries, embassies, other public sector organisations, and non-governmental organisations. The programme graduates tend to pursue a political career, working with political parties or parliament.

Often you can get a suitable transcript of bachelor degree from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian.

The documents must be legalised (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.
