Inspiring learning environment

During your studies, you will have the opportunity to develop real products and services by joining a Product Development Project. In this project, you will work in a team with KTU researchers and social partners to jointly solve topical problems. This is a great opportunity to improve your teamwork, project management and problem-solving skills.

In a small, modern lecture space, students engage in a discussion on business development strategies led by a lecturer. The close-knit learning environment encourages active interaction and deep topic exploration.

The programme is distinguished by its advanced teaching methods – from case studies and business scenario simulations to problem- or challenge-based learning. You will gain practical skills working with professional platforms such as SPSS, EViews and Bloomberg. Alongside your studies, will also gain a Bloomberg Market Concepts Smart Certificate.

You can gain BA+ competencies, study in a challenging and flexible learning model, create your own personalised set of modules based on topics of interest, and spend part of your study time at a university abroad under the Erasmus+ programme.

Gain analytical skills and understand the world of business.
You’ll learn to understand economic trends, assess the impact of policies or contribute to economic strategies. You will analyse economic, financial or social data using statistical tools and software, and work on market research, forecasting and decision modelling.

Economists analyse economic processes and their impact, examining price dynamics, unemployment rates, inflation, and other relevant indicators. They develop strategies for the efficient use of a company’s or a country’s resources and help make decisions based on calculations.

Economic and Business Consultant

Provides expert insight and recommendations to help companies and organisations optimise their economic performance and improve their competitiveness. Data Analyst

Collects, analyses and interprets large amounts of data to provide insights that support decision making. Uses statistics, programming tools and visualisation techniques to understand and predict business or economic trends.

This study programme provides a broad understanding of economic processes to help you navigate a dynamic job market. My studies have exposed me to a wide range of fields – finance, data analysis, economics and management. I also had the opportunity to use the Bloomberg Lab, which provides access to real market data and helps to better understand financial instruments in a real-life environment.
